The potential penalty is for Curtis Jones if I recall correctly. Klopp was given a yellow card for asking the officials why the penalty decision was not referred to VAR for review.

Atlanta couldn't believe to let in 5 goals. Classic Liverpool counter attack when Atlanta corner, ball headed away and landed to Curtis who lobed and Salah was running at two defenders curled top left corner scored.

Rhys William played so well in CL and Nat Philips played well in PL. Question is do we need to buy CB during Jan?

Clinical, brutal, relentless performance from Liverpool. Statement game, awesome stuff. We have got our swag back baby!

Jota will get all the headlines, deservedly so but this was a true top team overall performance.

Loved that we finished the match with a back four of Williams, Williams, Gomez and Tsimikas in a European away game against a team who were in the latter stages of CL last season.

Fifteen goals conceded in PL and zero in the CL. Mad. Big shout out to Alisson who put in a worldy performance. Just shows you how important his presence is to the team. Also without the brilliance of VVD we are now defending well as a team.

Big shout out to Curtis Jones as well. Surprised he was in ahead of Shaqiri but the lad did not fail to impress, top class!

Oh and when Thiago comes back in, oh baby.

Demba Ba ran all the way to score.

15th place giving 0.25 handicap to a 4th place team by the bookies is normal as on paper the scums is clearly the stronger team.
